Emily has always been a healthy active kid who enjoys dancing and helping teach younger kids; however, after seeing some doctors about some shoulder and back pain they did an x-ray and found a mass on her left side. Emily was then admitted to the hospital where doctors found tumors in her chest and stomach along with nodes in her kidneys and pancreas. A biopsy confirmed that it was Non-Hodgkins disease. The doctors are confident that it is treatable but it will require Emily and her family to be strong through all treatments.
