Erna Branco opened the Saucon Valley Sporting Goods store at its current Water Street location in 1996, two years after she started the business in her Hellertown home. Erna’s love to sew inspired the customization and personalization services offered by her store. Although a beginning with a good portion of her business in the sale of the Saucon Valley red and black, she quickly expanded to offer most of her products in a large spectrum of colors. Over the years, the store grew to support customers both from Saucon Valley and its surrounding communities. In 2019, the business was sold and transitioned to the current owners, Bob & Tami Shoemaker. Today, we continue the dedication to provide Hellertown and all surrounding areas with the best customer service, highest quality work, and at the most competitive prices. One of the best features of this small town store is the warmth and expertise shown to all those who shop in this Hellertown gem.
